I finally found a screen recording and screenshot tool that works reliably and quickly and turns out a great result. I honestly can’t believe it’s taken so long…

Cleanshot X just works. And it has some fancy features you’ll probably like, including annotation, cloud syncing, at the ability to capture scrollable content as one tall image just by scrolling. It’ll also hide your desktop icons during screen capture if that’s your cup of tea.
